Dntel-Dumb Luck. I started listening to Dntel this summer when someone I met once suggested that I listen to "Breakfast in Bed" featuring Conor Oberst. This song reminds me of early summer, and lazy late-nights around a fire. Musically the distortion takes on a sound like Spiritualized with more of a story in the lyrics.


Stars-The Night Starts Here. This duo is one of my all time favorites, and I'm a girl so its perfectly acceptable. A mature pretty pop sound with beautiful vocals and instrumentation. Its much bolder than their older stuff, even though it has a similar sound you can hear a musical evolution from previous singles and albums.


Maybe I just have a soft spot for the Canadians.
